TARCG Aviation has an exciting new opportunity for a Key Account Director to work with our defense, security and aviation client. The successful candidate will have the option to be stationed at one of our clients sites across Europe including Sweden, Belgium, Spain and Latvia. Successful candidates will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing activities and customer management, with specific focus to accounts and business opportunities in the Middle East & North Africa region.
Responsibilities:
- Central Point of Contact towards specific accounts managing all aspects of customer relations in order to position the full cross-domain offering to the customers to generate short and long-term business opportunities.
- Developing a deep understanding of accounts' capability demands, acquisition process, and enablers for additional value positions to build a solid foundation for capturing new businesses.
- Sales strategy creation and sales pipeline development through the identification, development, and management of new business opportunities, including the identification & development of local partner strategies as well.
- Mapping and development of accounts' contacts and relationships, including political and other relevant stakeholder relationships.
- Ensuring effective communication between key account and internal teams (Global, Portfolio, Operations).
- Capture and sales team lead role in sales opportunities in close cooperation with respective PSL's and OPS's teams, including active participation in bid and proposal preparations, contract negotiation with customers to ensure successful closure. Continual support of successful bids in customer engagement and expectation management.
- Responsibility of certain Gate decisions & preparations.
- Establish and monitor order intake forecasts in support of the Sales Team to ensure the sales data is updated and consistent.
- Developing a complete understanding of key account needs to build solid trust and confidence on our client by major key customers for customer satisfaction analysis and prioritization of corrective actions.
- Strong international sales experience related to technical equipment and/or services, preferably within the security and defence domain and from the Middle East and North Africa region (proven track record).
- Personality and capability to successfully interact with various kinds of stakeholders (security and defence user community, governmental actors, industry, local agents).
- Constructive teamwork and strong collaboration skills to work in matrix organizations.
- Experience of project-type of business and sales management, creating large scale bids as a leader or member of sales team, including contracting negotiations.
- Experience and understanding of international security and defence domain business development, and the industrial set-up creation within the large-scale sales and delivery programs with multiple actors.
- Strong know-how and experience of using keyMS-Office tools, preferably also from CRM systems.
- Fluency in English, including excellent presentation skills and ability to deliver clear and engaging oral presentations, other language skills (French, Arabic) seen as an advantage.
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field
