TARCG has an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Systems Manager to work with our client based in Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating projects and participate in the design and execution of processes. They will also design, implement, maintain, and enhance quality systems company-wide.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the quality management system, including documentation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the QMS, providing guidance and training on quality events.
- Responsible for the management of the QMS including workflow configuration and upgrades as needed, collaborating cross-functionally to identify, define and implement process improvement opportunities for enhanced workflows.
- Creation and presentation of applicable QMS training materials to ensure on going education to core quality procedures and applicable industry standards.
- Manage QMS processes such as: Nonconformance/Quality Events, CARS, Complaints.
- Lead the implementation of ISO standards and ensure compliance with ISO regulations.
- Write, review, or approve Standard Operating Procedures and interval investigations, as applicable.
- Establish, compile, track, and present Quality Metrics to support Quality Management Review.
- Proactively influence management regarding the implementation and/or adoption of standards to improve quality, efficiency, and compliance.
- Participate in regulatory inspections and/or internal audits representing Quality System.
- Collaborate and communicate across operational areas of the business to ensure standardization of quality culture.

- Experience with Deltek Costpoint highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent field.
- 7-10 years related experience required.
- Aerospace industry experience highly preferred.
- Experience with implementing ISO standards highly desirable.
- US Citizenship required
