Responsible to: Warehouse Supervisor
Division / Line of Business: Cargo & Ground Handling
Location: London Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom

TARCG now has an exciting opportunity for experienced Warehouse Agents to work with our client within an Aviation, Ground handling & Cargo environment. Objectives of the Warehouse Agent are to ensure our client is engaging with customers, understanding their requirements and meeting all the deadlines. The right candidate must have effective communication skills and be able to perform security tasks as required by CAA (Civil Aviation Authority). Identify Dangerous Goods and build Cargo to the airlines specification.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- To load and off-load freight from and onto vehicles.
- To place and retrieve freight in and from appropriate storage areas.
- Build Cargo to Airline specifications
- Load and unload Dangerous goods
- Follow all security procedures
- To comply with the company’s Health and Safety Policy and to be fully aware and adhere to the responsibilities as outlined in the policy.
- To complete documentation to record details and movement of freight, mail and equipment.
- To provide Customer, Airline Representatives and Officials with a high standard of service.
- To liaise between Operations and the Customer with any queries or Operational requirements.
- To complete necessary checks on Imports/Exports to make sure the company and its customer’s requirements are being met.
- To Complete the necessary reports required by the company and its customers.
- To be able to work flexible working hours when necessary.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and security at all times.
- To carry out any other tasks deemed necessary and reasonable by the company.
- Appropriate rights to live/work in the UK
- Flexible to work on various shifts
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate well and work as part of a team.
- Previous experience of working in an aviation environment.
- Good hand/eye coordination.
- Computer literacy skills.
- Work under pressure.
- Ability to accept responsibility.
- Motivated and hardworking.
- Forklift experience.
- The role involves lifting heavy goods so must be fit and able to lift up to 32Kg.
