- Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor - Business Aviation
Location: Montreal, Canada
Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day aircraft maintenance operations within a fast-paced business aviation environment. This role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, leading technical teams and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
The successful candidate will combine strong aircraft maintenance expertise with leadership capability and a hands-on approach to supporting operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise aircraft maintenance activities to ensure safety, quality and operational efficiency.
- Lead and support technical maintenance personnel, driving performance and maintaining a collaborative team environment.
- Work closely with Maintenance Coordinators and Crew Chiefs to effectively schedule manpower and maintenance projects.
- Ensure tooling, equipment and resources are available to support maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
- Participate in daily maintenance operations, safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments and customers to provide updates, resolve issues and maintain high service standards.
- Support operational planning, equipment requirements and maintenance performance objectives.
- Valid Transport Canada M2 E Licence (or equivalent).
- Minimum 8 years' aircraft maintenance experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibility.
- Experience supporting business aircraft platforms within an MRO, FBO or aviation maintenance environment preferred.
- Aircraft type endorsements on business jet platforms would be advantageous.
- Strong leadership and team engagement skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving capability and ability to deliver under pressure.
