Location: Europe - Home / Field-Based
Territory: Italy & wider European region
Salary: €115,000 per annum
Travel: Up to 75%
Licence: FAA or EASA Part-66 B1 or B2
TARCG has been appointed to identify an experienced Field Service Representative for a key technical appointment within the European customer support organisation of a leading international business aviation group.
Operating across Italy and the wider European region, the FSR will act as a trusted technical interface between the organisation and its aircraft operators, providing in-market support across technical issues, defect resolution and AOG events.
This is not a conventional certifying engineer position. It is a highly autonomous, customer-facing appointment requiring strong technical experience, sound judgement and the professional credibility to represent the organisation directly with operators.
The position is home/field-based. Candidates do not need to reside in Italy but must be suitably located within Europe and comfortable travelling extensively throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a regional technical point of contact for aircraft operators and flight departments.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support across the assigned territory.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of aircraft defects and technical issues.
- Support and coordinate AOG and non-AOG events.
- Provide technical guidance to operators and maintenance organisations.
- Coordinate with engineering, product support and specialist technical teams.
- Support aircraft Entry Into Service and post-delivery technical matters.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with operators throughout the region.
- EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 licence / or FAA
- Proven hands-on Gulfstream aircraft experience.
- Strong Gulfstream systems, troubleshooting and fault-finding knowledge.
- Experience across scheduled, unscheduled and AOG maintenance.
- Ability to operate autonomously and make sound technical decisions.
- Strong customer-facing communication and professional presence.
- Fluent English.
- Ability to travel extensively - up to approximately 75%.
- A suitable European base from which to support the territory.
- Existing right to live and work in the European Union
