TARCG is supporting a European aviation group with the appointment of an experienced CAMO Postholder to lead its continuing airworthiness and engineering function.
This is a senior technical leadership appointment with responsibility for the effective management of the CAMO organisation, its people, processes and regulatory obligations.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across continuing airworthiness activities while ensuring the organisation remains compliant with applicable EASA requirements and approved procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the organisation's CAMO and continuing airworthiness activities.
- Act as the nominated Continuing Airworthiness Management Postholder.
- Manage and develop the CAMO/engineering team and associated technical functions.
- Ensure continuing compliance with EASA Part-CAMO and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain oversight of aircraft airworthiness, maintenance programmes and technical status.
- Oversee maintenance planning, technical records, reliability and airworthiness requirements.
- Maintain and develop the CAME and associated procedures.
- Support aircraft introduction, transition, delivery and redelivery activities.
- Manage relationships with competent authorities, MROs, OEMs and other technical partners.
- Ensure airworthiness issues, technical risks and compliance matters are identified and effectively managed.
- Provide senior technical advice and reporting to the organisation's leadership team.
- Significant experience within CAMO, Continuing Airworthiness or airline engineering.
- Previous experience as a CAMO Postholder, Continuing Airworthiness Manager, Head of Engineering or equivalent senior technical leader.
- Strong working knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO and associated continuing airworthiness regulation.
- Demonstrable experience leading technical teams and managing complex engineering/CAMO activities.
- Strong understanding of maintenance programmes, planning, technical records and aircraft airworthiness.
- Experience working directly with aviation regulatory authorities.
- Commercial airline or comparable aircraft operator experience strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management capability.
