Our client specialises in providing bespoke aviation solutions for emergency services, corporate and utility operators. Services include field maintenance on over 30 rotary wing aircraft, three base maintenance facilities and a bespoke training facility operating both in the UK and overseas.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a B2 engineer to join our client on a permanent basis in Gloucestershire, UK.
The successful B2 Engineer will carry out maintenance tasks as directed, within the scope of the licence held.
Engineers with AW169, AW139, MD902 type rating are preferred and will be prioritised. Candidates with a B2 EASA License with similar Type ratings (Complex Rotary) are welcome to apply as training/type rating can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and their components in accordance with Company procedures and the privileges of the job holder’s approval and license.
- In accordance with “authorisation”, certify own work and when necessary examine/check work of unlicensed fitters and certify the same.
- Ensure correct completion of all documentation in accordance with Company Processes and Procedures.
- Actively engage in Continuous Improvement Philosophy of Company Standards and Policies.
- Ensure personal work area is kept clean and tidy.
- Ensure the hangars and bases you are working in are maintained to a high standard and will pass internal and external audits.
- You may on occasion be required to carry out duties of a different nature either in addition to, or instead of, your normal duties.
- Right to live and work in the UK
- EASA B2 License
- Field Engineer experience (Desired but not essential)
- AW169, AW139 or MD902 Type rating (Desired but not essential)
- Log books - 6 month within last two years working on complex rotary aircraft.
