TARCG have contract positions available for Certifying Engine Technicians working on the CFM-56 (CFM56-3 or/and CFM56-5B or/and CFM56-7B) based in Europe. This is an Engine Overhaul Shop Technician (Off-Wing Certifier) CFM-56 position where you will be required to issue an EASA Form 1 so experience in this field is essential.

This would suit a candidate who has worked on the CFM56 for at least 6 months in the last 2 years in an off-wing overhaul facility.
This position would not suit an "on-wing" Engine MEchanic, B1.1 Technician.
This contract is long term and available for an immediate start with flights, travel and accommodation provided as well as an attractive rate of pay.
Job Details:
  • Location – Europe
  • Start date -  ASAP
  • Duration of the Assignment – at least for one year, with possible extensions
  • Hours of work: min 160 hours per month ( from 8 to 17 p.m., 5 working days) 
  • Flight provided (first flight ant last one)
  • Accommodation provided
  • Tools provided
Essential Requirements:
  • Held previous company approval for Engine overhaul shop maintenance and release to service (EASA Form 1)
  • Min 5-years experience working within an aircraft engine shop MRO/OEM
  • Minimum 6-month of work experience in aircraft engine maintenance (CFM56-3 or/and CFM56-5B or/and CFM56-7B) in the previous 2 years as Certifying staff. Logbooks, references, exp. statements etc. is a MUST

Other Requirments:
  • Aviation/Engineering school/institute diploma;
  • Theoretical and practical engine maintenance training for engine models to be authorized (CFM56-3 or/and CFM56-5B or/and CFM56-7B) in OEM or OEM recognized Part 147 training organization or EASA Part-145 AMO;
  • HF initial  training course;
  • FTS initial training course;
  • EWIS initial training course;
  • Basic training examination (Part-147 MTO or EU MS CAA) in Aviation Legislation Module 10 for at least Category A level (certificate), (an advantage);
Main functions:
  • Perform maintenance and repair of aircraft engines in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions;
  • Certifying its own work or other certifying staff`s work if required (according to the MOE, regulations etc). Issue EASA Form 1.
  • Ensure that measuring, recording and controlling work environment conditions (according to MOE).
  • Supervises job performed by engine mechanics.
  • Coaches and develops engine mechanics.
  • Uses Enterprise Recourse Planning (ERP) system.
