- Aircraft Mechanics
TARCG has contract positions for Aircraft Mechanics at KLMUK working Line maintenance on the EMB170/190 or 737NG in Edinburgh.Due to a role-based determination on the position, this contract is deemed inside IR35.
- Location: Edinburgh
- Start: June 13th - 3 months possible extensions
- Umbrella Rate:
- £35.00 / hr
- Hours: est. 50-55hrs per week
- Shift Rotation:
- 4on 3off Monday to Thursday
- Accommodation: Provided
- Line Maintenance
- Tooling: you need your own tooling that is etched, shadowed with a full inventory + photo
Essential Requirements:
- 6 months experience on the B737NG or EMB170/190 type within the last 2 years - verified by logbooks
- EWIS, FTS, HF (initial + recurrent)
- You have your own tooling/toolbox that is shadowed and inventoried as per KLM tool list
- Photo of toolbox
- Passport and Passport Photo (Portrait photo on white background)
- Negative COVID Test within 72hrs of start date
- You must bring your original documents on your first day (If you have them manually rather than digitally)
Expenses: You may be able to claim back non-commutable expenses at the end of the tax year by the HMRC P87 claim form or Self-Assessment Tax Return.
