TARCG has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Program Manager to work with our aviation client based in Europe. Successful candidates will be expected to operate as a customer–service point of contact for the client, responsible for timely and accurate communication of the daily execution and fulfillment of deliverables. Collaborates cross-departmentally to develop customer-specific strategies and ensure achievement of related goals. You will be the voice of the customer within the company and the voice of the company in front of the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Continuously promotes and maintains positive working relationships with customers and suppliers to achieve the best exposure in the market, ensuring all customer needs are actively pursued and addressed; represents the Company at industry related events
- Primary customer representative for all activities, including critical responsibilities of: Program Management, Strategic Account Management, Business Development, Customer Engagement, Fulfillment responsibilities, including on-time delivery
- Proactively advocates for the customer internally and the organization externally to ensure alignment of expectations and delivery, including development of winning proposals and pricing strategies
- Responds, investigates, and immediately resolves communication failures; process claims and drives actions necessary to ensure the occurrence is not repeated
- Maintains a broad market awareness of competitive processes, applications, and impacts to the additive market share
- Identifying and managing customer risks and opportunities
- Drives customer centric culture within the team and accountability of team to support customer service activities and customer escalations
- Plans in accordance with Operations capacity for workflow and project strategies to manage a consistent and timely flow of inventory, in direct response to customer specifics and ship date requirements
- Oversees program management execution for site project portfolio following best practices and established systems. Leads the team to resolve project issues and resource constraints affecting the program with assistance from upper management. Manages planning and scheduling conflicts among the team
- Champions cross-functional partnership and alignment to resolve priority conflicts, collaborates and establishes new initiatives to improve work processes, fosters positive working relationships
- Proactively leads continuous improvement efforts to improve profitability, competitiveness, reliability, quality, safety, etc. in areas of responsibility
- Other duties and responsibilities as required for the successful operation of business
- Adheres to and promote applicable Policies, Procedures, Safety Rules & Regulations and Security Guidelines.
- Baccalaureate degree or 6+ years’ related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience:
- 3-6 years’ managing complex engineering and/or manufacturing efforts, preferably in commercial aerospace or defense industry
- 4-6 years’ experience in a customer facing role, including demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service/and real-time problem-solving strategies preferred
- Experience in developing capture strategies and proposal writing preferred
- Experience in manufacturing qualification for and production processes
- Knowledge of supplier processes with relevant OEM or Tier 1 companies
- Good working knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 product distribution environments and expectations
