Job description – Engineering Wing NRC Controller:
A. Accountabilities:
• The Jobholder is responsible for Wing programme controlling within 1AW controlling domain perimeter and reports to Ho Airframe Wing Controlling (FCIAW).
• The Jobholder is the counterpart of Head of Airframe Engineering Wing programme and focal point accountable for programme convergence with Airframe controller programme (For relevant programmes).
• The Jobholder ensures quality of deliverables of your perimeter of responsibilities:
· Establish consolidated financial reporting for the relevant programme within the wing Airframe perimeter.
· Guarantee the constant availability of accurate and challenged financial data to allow decision-making at all transnational Wing Airframe levels
· Coordinate the Wing Airframe relevant programme teams in all translational financial and Program related exercises.
· Lead all Wing Programme and financial related exercises within the Wing Airframe organization for relevant programmes.
B. Main activities / Skills:
Activities:
A. The jobholder applies FC program guidelines
B. The jobholder builds up drivers for series programs
C. The jobholder consolidates operational input at wing airframe program level and analyses variances with target for the relevant program in close relationship with Wing and programme Airframe controller.
D. The jobholder is dealing with Airframe Wing and program controlling and prepares information and analysis
a. For convergences reviews in Airbus Operating Plan process;
b. For Convergences review for Risks & Opportunities recognition during the year;
c. For validation, postponement or cancellation of additional activity during the year
E. The jobholder prepares EVM status and analysis for monthly review (for programs concerned).
F. The jobholder prepares financial data on Wing Airframe perimeter for Ad hoc Wing Airframe and Airframe programme meeting
G. The jobholder provides financial links to activity to the operational teams.
H. The jobholder breakdowns the Wing Airframe wide body target (M€, FTE) and performs controlling of cost by destination, cost by nature and resources within Wing Airframe Wide relevant program to support in target achievement.
I. The Jobholder supports the continued development of Engineering controlling UK Early careers
K. The jobholder supports Finance improvement and transformation initiatives.
Skills:
§ The jobholder will ensure that a clear set of reliable financial data is released internally and externally to stakeholders
§ Good knowledge of A/C development process.
§ Communication -> simplification.
§ Business partnering mind-set (I.e. developing a trustful relationship, building empathy and focusing on adding value)
§ Capacity to challenge based on solid analysis.
C. Outputs:
§ A. The jobholder works with Airframe programs to converge targets
§ B. The jobholder provides EVM analysis and Pre MBR Wing relevant program analysis
§ C. The jobholder delivers financial reports on relevant Airframe program for the relevant Wing Airframe Programme leader and Wing Airframe consolidation
§ D. The jobholder provides monthly status on R&O recognized by Airframe for Wing Airframe domain.

Needs to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience since qualification - CIMA
