Working Pattern: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday days - Candidates must be able to work on site when required

Job Description:
Assembly Technician Outline Job Profile
As the successful candidate your tasks and accountabilities will include:
Construction of Test Systems from supplied documentation
Performing assembly using Hand Crimp tools and soldering
Maintaining 5S principles and carry out daily audits to keep integration areas (tools, toolboxes, workstations, etc.) clean and organised. Respect and maintain tool control system.
Performing machine shop operations for minor fabrication, modification and repair.
Sub assembly and installation of all structural components following installation drawing and procedures, including cleat drilling and assembly.
Qualifications and/or Skills:
Essential:
HNC in engineering discipline or equivalent.
Proven experience in an assembly, manufacturing or production environment.
Previous experience of working with and an understanding of technical documents; drawings, procedures and technical notes.
Experience of working in a clean room highly desirable.
Awareness of work place health and safety practices.
Excellent communication skills.
Desirable:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Previous Experience:
Essential: At least 3 years in a high reliability manufacturing production line
Desirable: Experience at least 3 years in a Space Manufacturing Assembly line
Working Pattern & Base of Work:
Monday to Friday days - Candidates must be able to work on site when required
