Role: Wing Fluid Systems Installation Designer

Location: Filton – hybrid 60% on site 40% remote

Length of Contract: 20/11/2023 – possibility of extension

Working Pattern: Standard 35 hours across 4.5 days (working between 7-7 at business discretion)

Travel: Not routinely – mainly UK only

We are looking for a Systems Installation Design Engineer to join Airbus in Filton, Bristol, to join the Wing Fluid Systems Installation team.

This role will provide an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with aircraft Systems Installation experience combined with design skills to join the high performing team supporting the full range of Airbus commercial aircraft with opportunities to engage in a wide range of customers, stakeholders and suppliers.

In this role you will support varied activities across the ‘end to end’ design process including:

- Conceptual design

- Current product modifications

- Support to manufacturing sites

- Support to in service support and continued airworthiness

• Experience in a Design Engineering role with Systems Installation experience

• Competent user of Catia with experience of configuration toolsets i.e. PASS, DPDS, VPM, ICC

• Be able to provide a flexible approach to varied activities

• Previous Airbus experience would be desirable
