- Role: Health and Wellbeing Support Team Member / Healthcare AdministratorRate of Pay: Please apply for further informationLocation: Broughton, Flintshire – onsite working requirement with the potential for 1 or 2 days WFH when requiredLength of Contract: Until 28/01/2024Working Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)To work with the Wellbeing Manager and other Occupational Health colleagues to improve knowledge, attitudes, policy and practice in relation to supporting Airbus employees on matters of health and wellbeing.This will be achieved by working collaboratively across all disciplines and operating levels, trade union, external bodies and NHS partnership; supporting and developing initiatives seeking to influence policy, practice and culture.Key Responsibilities:The role involves a wide range of activities in supporting both Occupational Health service delivery and Airbus employees who use the facility.This will include:• Support with health and wellbeing strategy promotion by the development of pages within the Airbus HUB, health campaigns and marketplaces within business areas across site.• Preparing publicity and/or presentations on health issues.• Support with Psychosocial Risk assessment activities across site, including analysis of data and facilitation of focus group sessions.• Support delivery of wellbeing initiatives, plant projects and communications.• Coordinating a Mental Health First Aider programme; engaging with and supporting Mental Health first aiders.• Undertake research, consultation, monitoring, evaluation and analysis as directed. • Support and signpost employees and stakeholders on Wellbeing matters, including best practice by liaising with professional groups and support organisations.• To perform any other duties as may reasonably be required from time-to-time.
Knowledge and Experience:• The role requires excellent communication skills, and the post holder should have a good standard of general education, with a minimum standard of Maths and English to GCSE A-C or equivalent.• Relevant health or wellbeing experience is essential. You will need to have a large amount of initiative and enthusiasm for health and wellbeing, as we look to integrate wellbeing support as closely as possible with our leadership agenda.• You will have an open style of communicating and be willing to prioritise opportunities to engage and listen with our staff.• We ask you to be flexible and adaptable in your approach, with the opportunity to work onsite as well as remotely/from home, so for this reason a high level of competence with IT skills/GSuite is essential.• Following a period of induction and supported learning the post holder will need to work with minimal supervision, in direct support of Occupational Health management.
