Description
Role: Process Performance engineer
Rate of Pay: Please apply for further details 
Location: Broughton, Flintshire – 80% onsite working as a minimum
Length of Contract: Until 15/01/2024
Working Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)
Mission:
The Process Performance Engineer (PPE) Responsibility is to define the best industrial sequence of work to be operated on the shop Floor, optimizing overall Spent Time by Aircraft. To fulfill this mission, the PPE can act:
■ During the industrialization phase through critical path/resource impact analysis according to product/process threshold
■ During serial production by designing the best Standard Line Balancing to perform operations for each Blue Collar/Operators
■ Collecting and analyzing data to optimize production line performance and efficiency (time analysis, observation, improvement projects...)
Key Responsibilities:
To support choice of new industrialization (HoV (Head of Version) /Major MOD (Modification) /new Takt…)
■ Responsible for: preparation and Analyze of Industrial Process Diagram Scenario and list of improvement proposal with associated gains to support choice of new industrialization
To create and maintain PERT chart: (Program Evaluation and Review Technique (work sequence))
■ Support to define and Maintain PERT chart in MFT (Multi-Functional Team)
■ Responsible to digitalize PERT Chart.
To create and maintain SLB: (Standard Line Balancing)
■ Support the MFT to define and update the SLB
■ Responsible for the creation and update of:
■ the constraints list which impact SLB (with evaluation of the impact)
■ Identification of Technical Critical path, Management of Balancing Critical path and maximize station capacity (frame of continuous improvement). Provide number of blue collar to perform the SLB.
■ Creation and Maintenance of White Space reduction action plan and Red Space analysis to maximize CVAT efficiency (in the frame of Continuous improvement of SLB through efficiency loss reduction).

To support the Production pace control (PPC):
■ Responsible for Launching Line Balancing Release by MSN to support Production Pace Control (PPC)
■ Responsible for improvement of data quality action plan (time, operation granularity, proposal to split or group operations) linked to disruptions coming from MES following Pareto analysis.

To support the production performance:
■ Responsible for improvement proposal based:
■ CVAT (Customer Value Added Time (performance measure))
■ On gap analysis
■ Serial Allocated time via VA/NVA analysis (Value Added/Non-Value Added (activities))
■ Shop Floor process observation.
