- Role: Supply OfficerRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Farnborough - This role will be a hybrid role working from home and site - free parking is provided for this roleWorking Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, daysLength of Contract: 12 monthsJob Summary:An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the clients HAPS Connectivity Solutions Ltd as a Supply Officer based in Farnborough.Mission:One face to the internal customer, manage internal tasks for customer protection and improvement projects for internal issues, securing End To End demand management and ordering activities.Tasks and Accountabilities:Outline Job Profile:
- Place Purchase Orders according to the Purchase Request and commercial conditions agreed by the Commodity Management team.
- To be actively involved in the management of the material flows in order to ensure that outsourced and purchased products are delivered on time, quality and cost to satisfy customers and launch the first level of corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform delivery follow-up and secure proper updates in the system to enable quality of data in Supplier OTD (On Time Delivery) metrics.
- Be the interface towards plant Operations internal customer (production/AIT/MRO), with attendance as applicable to the corresponding Level 2 & Level 3 SQCDPs (Safety Quality Cost Delivery & People).
- Lead the monitoring of Missing Parts management in front of the Production Control teams.
- Support VRBs, SMMs and MFTs as applicable.
- Obtain export control licenses (not ECCD) related to Hardware deliveries.
- Participate in improvement projects and lead digital initiatives in the frame of Supply Chain and Quality Operations (i.e. Air Supply implementation, EMP, stock visibility.
- Ensure On-Time payment to suppliers.
Reporting To: Head of Supply ManagementSkills/Experience Required:Essential skills:You should have the following skills and background:-- Educated to degree level in Procurement, Engineering or Business administration.
- Solid background in Supply Chain Management and/or Project Management
- Knowledge / experience in one of the following areas will be a plus: Aerospace, Composites, Aerostructures, Avionics, sub-Assembly.
- Proficiency in SAP and Google workspace.
- Experience with suppliers' relationship
- Team player with good communication skills, stakeholder management, ability to convince and influence
- Diplomacy and reliability
- Negotiation level of English
