- Role: Assembly Technologies Research and Development Project ManagerRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Broughton – onsite requirement every day. 1 day every now and then lineside delivery shop floorLength of Contract: Until 05/02/2024Working Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)An exciting opportunity has arisen in Broughton within the Manufacturing Engineering Assembly Technologies team within the Manufacturing Engineering organisation.We are looking for an individual with strong project management skills to join our team.The job holder is responsible for researching, developing and delivering new technology projects that will benefit businesses across the Broughton plant.Tasks & Accountabilities:The successful applicant will have the autonomy to develop and deliver new projects on behalf of the Manufacturing Engineering Technologies Team.You will have the opportunity to work alongside the Manufacturing Engineering Innovation cell to identify opportunities to develop and implement new digitalisation technologies and ways of working for use across the plant.There will be scope to lead a number of different types of projects including Continuous Improvement Projects, Environmental projects, Health & Safety Projects as well as providing technical support to the manufacturing operations departments.Required Skills:As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the following:• Dealing with various activities in a constant evolving environment• Dealing with external partners• Discovering different manufacturing technologies• Manage the full project scope from end to end.• Influence key stakeholders outside of your sphere of influence
Accountabilities:• Strong collaboration with business areas to ensure On Time, Cost and Quality projects.• Work in partnership with the suppliers to support product development.• Track project milestones with visible KPI's and manage key stakeholders through MultiFunctional Teams.

Technical Skills & Competencies:• Proven Project management experience• Understanding of Lean Tools and Techniques• Problem solving techniques.• Technical background in manufacturing engineering, background knowledge in drilling or fastening would be an advantage• Fluent English negotiation level (commercial and technical).• Google Office IT tools: Slides, Sheets, Gmail etc.
