- Role: Engineering Business AnalystRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Stevenage - Following a familiarisation period on site this role will involve hybrid working an average of 3 days per week on-site and two days per week working from home – but candidates must be able to work on site full time when required – free parking is providedLength of Contract: 6 months - Probable extension after initial contract durationWorking Pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, daysTravel: Occasional travel to other UK sites
Job Summary:The role of a Business Analyst is required to primarily support the Solution Architect to understand the user requirements for the application solutions. This is for Engineering design and manufacturing of complex high value low volume products, and bespoke one-off items.Primarily the engineering applications are:• Engaging and interfacing with Business applications owners, to understand the processes and requirements.• Map the business processes and flows.• Document user application requirements and map to current application landscape.• Support the Solution Architect in evaluation and trade of requirements to support the to-be application landscape.• Support coordination of user application testing.Supporting the migration of server applications and data, and alignment and fit with other large multinational deployment projects; e.g. new SAP systems and landscape.The person in this role will work closely with the Solution Architect supporting the development of the application solution requirements documentation, and baseline design.Reporting To: Project Manager and Solution Architect

Job Profile:- You will engage with both the design and manufacturing organisations to map out the existing legacy processes
- You will engage with the business to capture and define requirements related to engineering design and manufacturing tools
- You will define and prioritise these requirements based upon business impact
- You will work within the project team providing task priorities on behalf of stakeholders
- You will support development and transition to new business processes
- You will create stakeholder maps and establish key people relationships
- You will create reports for presentation to support decision-making stakeholders
Skills/Experience Required:Essential:- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Engineering environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education & Training:- Strong experience in a similar role
Working Pattern:- Monday to Friday days
Travel:- Occasional travel to other UK sites
Extension:- Probable extension after initial contract duration
