Role Overview:Airbus Commercial Landing Gear Operations Team is looking for a Business & Project Management Partner to support our engineering programme teams and help shape the future of our Business Operations.Working alongside our engineering community, the Landing Gear Operations team deliver operational management solutions for project & performance management, resource management and people development to enable the Landing Gear engineering domain to excel.As a Business & Project Management Partner, you will be welcomed into a diverse and dynamic functional team and operationally deployed to one of our engineering programme teams.
Responsibilities:• Assuring that business and project management processes are followed within your engineering programme team.• Building and maintaining robust integrated plans with all stakeholders involved.• Maintaining a credible resource and financial plan.• Promoting a mindset of anticipation to identify and act on potential risks, opportunities and workload evolution.• Assuring that internal resourcing and external engineering service supplier activities are launched in line with the plan and managed in accordance with Airbus policy and processes.• Proactively managing the collation & reporting of key performance indicators to ensure that the Landing Gear engineering business management data is readily available for effective performance management.• Providing guidance and mentoring to our engineering community on business and project management.• Supporting Landing Gear engineering with the implementation of Business / Project Management best practices and enabling a culture of continuous improvement.
Skill Set:Essential:• Experienced in Business Management and/or Project Management.• Customer focused and able to engage, inspire and manage multiple stakeholders with enthusiasm and energy.• Ability to be flexible, pragmatic and have an analytical style of working whilst still having good attention to detail.• Curious and innovative with a willingness to challenge the norm and learn / continuously improve.
