- Role: Finance Transformation Project ManagerRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Broughton, Flintshire – onsite working initially and then potential to work from homeWorking Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)Length of Contract: Until 26/12/2023Travel: Regular travel to Airbus Toulouse for meetings/ workshopsAn opportunity has arisen to provide Project Management support to a major Finance improvement project linked to the overall Finance Top Functional Objectives.This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help shape our Finance tools and processes of the future.
The right candidate will have existing Project Management experiences and be confident in working as part of a high-profile project team.A major challenge for this role will be working effectively in a matrix organisation with multiple Programme and Functional interfaces requiring continuous alignment and Stakeholder Management.The role will be based in Broughton North Wales site. As this is part of a transnational project, you will be able to travel regularly to Airbus Central Entity in Toulouse as well as other Airbus sites.
Responsibilities:· Interface on a day-to-day basis with Project teams to drive a best-in-class planning solution.· Project Management support to both project workstreams (drumbeat deliverables, document progress, workshop preparation)· Provide timely & reliable updates to project leads across the full Transformation project.· Evaluate project progress & take appropriate action.· Participate in key stakeholder awareness and alignment sessions.
Requirements:· Prior leadership skills and experience working as part of a project team· Finance experience desirable· Enthusiastic self-starter, curious and motivated to identify and implement changes.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
