- Role: Procurement Officer / Contract Management Project SpecialistRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Filton – hybrid 60% onsite as a minimumWorking Pattern: Standard 35 hours across 4.5 days (working between 7-7 at business discretion)Length of Contract: Until 19/12/2023 - Possibility of extensionRole Overview:Seeking an individual with experience in project management, with skills as an organiser, a communicator and a completer/finisher.Responsibilities:• Ensure that all contracts and associated documents are stored in the Contracts Management tool• Develop a relationship with the department buyers to identify all contractual documents and to support the buyers to ensure that all documents are stored in the eProc tool• Support the departments buyers to upgrade their Airbus Supplier Requirements (ASR) to the latest standard ASRs are requirements and processes which are attached to contracts to instruct suppliers how to manufacture parts to the appropriate standards - These ASR’s have recently been upgraded - this role is to gain knowledge of how this process works and to support and monitor the buyers objective to upgrade from ASR issue C to issue D by the end of 2023• Maintain the current contract archiving process Work with the buyers to identify old contractual documents in their files - agree with the buyers which documents should be retained and which should be archived with our external archive company - for documents which need to be archived, record those contracts, ensure electronic versions are stored in our eProc tool and liaise with our external provider to move hard copies to the offsite storage facility• Enhance the Work package database with Export Control Classification codes Work with buyers to identify all Export Control Classification codes in their contracts for all bought out parts and record them in our WP database• Maintain progress trackers to facilitate senior management support
Skill Set:Essential:• Ability to develop a strategy to engage multiple busy stakeholders to deliver these objectives• Team player - build positive relationships with buyers Be tenacious to achieve goals while recognising that buyers have conflicting priorities• Have a positive attitude to problem solving• Be diligent on the administrative side to ensure progress status is up to date• Have a good understanding of Procurement Contracts and processes
