- Role: Senior Systems EngineerRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: NewportLength of Contract: 12 monthsWorking Pattern: Days fully on site with the opportunity to condense 37 hours into four daysTravel: Occasional to other Airbus sites if required
Key Responsibilities:· Work within a multi-functional team to solve the problem presented by the customer.· Develop System and Product design artefacts across the software development lifecycle.· Utilise Model Based Systems Engineering to create a robust model of the system being developed.· Collaborate with the system, hardware and software architects to ensure consistency, design for modularity and re-use, and technical excellence.· Involvement in the full lifecycle (from requirements elicitation through to verification/certification and delivery)
Skills and Experience:· Experience of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)· Experience delivering a system of systems.· An organised individual with a natural curiosity to seek out and contrast all possible solutions.· Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining effective communications within the team.· Desirable: Experience developing secure communications systems· Desirable: Working knowledge of DOORS requirements management tool· Desirable: Working knowledge of Enterprise Architect (EA) modelling tool
