- Role: Project AssistantRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Stevenage - Following a familiarisation period on site this role will be working on site full time – free parking is providedWorking Pattern: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday days – occasional/ad hoc extra hours mid-week & weekendsLength of Contract: 6 monthsJob Profile:The Airbus Communications Product Group is looking for an outgoing self-starter with a “can do” attitude to support our busy project and functional teams.The Project assistant is responsible for providing day to day support to Project Teams and also CPG Functional Team Leaders to enable the effective execution of projects delivered by the Communications Products Group.Responsibilities include but are not restricted to:
- Project office administrative duties (meeting/event admin, file/folder access management) collecting information for project decision making
- Support to project performance monitoring (milestones tracking), control and reporting
- Support procurement process implementation
- Support to IM request coordination and chasing execution
- Support to implementation of PM processes and tools.
- Diary management, travel and logistics for the Project team and CPG Functional Team Leaders.
Reports to: Head of Communication Products GroupSkills/Experience Required:The ability to communicate in a relevant manner with all parties including -· Project Managers and Team Leaders· Product Group Management· Engineering / Design· IM, Site Services, Travel and some external service providersA proven track record of supporting teams in highly complex environments.Strong interpersonal and administrative skills.Strong experience in Microsoft Office and related office software and tools.Working Pattern:Monday to Friday days – occasional/ad hoc extra hours mid-week & weekends
Extension:Probable extension after initial contract duration
Base of Work:Following a familiarisation period on site this role will be working on site full time – free parking is provided
