- Role: Assistant BuyerRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Broughton, Flintshire – full time onsite initially. Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 WFH – Tuesday and Thursday onsite, Friday at home, candidate’s choice on day onsite)Working Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)Length of Contract: Until 26/08/2023We are Guidant and we are proud to work alongside Airbus, the world’s largest aircraft manufacture, to recruit staff for their sites across the UK.An exciting opportunity for an Assistant Buyer has arisen to join the team based onsite at Broughton.Responsibilities Include:Support the buyer in administrative tasks as:· Manage demands from internal customers and allocate them to relevant stakeholders.· Correct data in IT system or transfer the action to relevant internal stakeholder.· Monitor recovery plans to manage shortages with suppliers, making the interface with the different internal stakeholders.· Support the Monitoring of the contract (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and Company stakeholders to achieve throughout the contract life cycle a complete application of terms and conditions, thus ensuring that suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, cost...).· Support change process of Supply Chain Consumable project· Work as part of the Multifunctional/Multidivisional teams all along the tendering contracting and contract life cycle phases.
Key Qualities:· Individual must be results and delivery driven with a sound logical approach to achieving tasks and objectives· Must be an organized person to keep on top of all changes· Able to work on own initiative to develop effective solutions to problems· Have good interpersonal skills to work well with others, as well as being able to motivate and encourage both individuals and a team
