Our mission is to seek, define, develop & deploy world class digital capabilities that systematically improve the way we work, securing value creation and improvement in productivity.We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual, who can demonstrate appropriate experience of delivering Digital projects in a fast moving and challenging industrial environment. Your ability to engage and influence will be key, along with a talent to deliver creative solutions. You will need the experience and vision to effectively support the creation of a Digitalisation strategy that employs best in class hardware and software solutions. Proficient in oral and written communication you will have the ability to collaborate well within a team and develop effective relationships with customers and suppliers. Your knowledge of Digitalisation & software solutions will allow you to seek out and exploit industry best practice, bringing unique & innovative digital solutions that improve manufacturing productivity and inspire engagement.Tasks & accountabilities:As a Digital Engineer, you have a solid background in the fields of analytics, artificial intelligence and automation, big data, cloud, cyber security, data consulting and front-end application.Your extensive experience on digital projects gives you great autonomy for creating proof of concepts and defining the digital architecture solution to contribute to production efficiency improvements and generate operational savings.Some of the tasks and responsibilities you can expect will include:- Actively contribute to the the development, maintenance and evolution of the site Digitalisation transformation using data analytics and AI- Identifying, quantifying, planning and implementing digital solutions relating to data analytics and AI- Championing and communicating our digital transformation.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
Required Skills:As the successful candidate you must be able to demonstrate the following;- Degree Level in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Computer Science, though equivalent experience will be considered.- Experience and knowledge with managing big data and proficient in computer programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, C++, SQL, Google Apps Script- Experience and knowledge of deploying projects using artificial intelligence- Prior knowledge of digital systems and or process development.- Experience in Project Management preferably utilizing Agile methodology.- Sensitivity to customer needs and possessing excellent Stakeholder Management & Influencing Skills with all levels of business.- Demonstrated innovative thinking from project scoping through to implementation.- Ability to adapt and grow in a fast paced and ever changing work environment.- Genuine desire to grow and learn as well as contribute positively to a team oriented work environment.- Strong interest in solving complex problems with multi-functional team collaboration- G Suite software solutions- Previous experience in an operational environment. (desirable but not compulsory)- English language at negotiation level, other languages would be an asset.
