- Role: Quality Conformance EngineerRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Broughton, Flintshire - Onsite working requirementWorking Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)Length of Contract: Until 23/04/2024
Role Profile:• The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality conformance deliverables in relation to the Rate++ project, for both the facility and operational readiness, as well as the operational quality management during serial production.• This role offers the opportunity to develop skills and experience in Project Management, APQP application, Quality standards, Industrial System Development, AOS and Operational Quality Management.• Ensure focus & priority given to POA activities to ensure there is a very high level of Product Safety.• Ensure quality input into all reviews including risk, multi-function, planning & stakeholder reviews.
Tasks & Accountabilities:• Support & Facilitate Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) in Design, Process & Machine Create & update Control Plans (CPs) to incorporate modifications as required; including preparing & providing inputs into CP, leading CP reviews, release to M.E, cascade CP requirements to shop floor, and receiving shop floor feedback to optimise inspections.• Plan & execute Production Process Verification (PPV) to ensure validation of all routings; including Industrial Process Qualifications (IPQ), Control Plans (CPs) & CA Breakdown for N-1 Lead Cost of NonQuality forecasting & support mitigation activities where required.• Provide lineside support for local test campaigns & Head of Version (HoV) manufacturing during Start of Production (SoP) phases Support Key Characteristic (KC) & Critical Item (CTI) cascade from Design & Manufacturing Engineering functions Support APQP activities including Decision Tree’s (DT), Applicability Matrix (AM), and Key Business Deliverable (KBD) assessments as both deliverable owner & assessor Manage Quality deliverables in IDP (Industrial Development Plan)
Required Skills:• Stakeholder Management experience• Project Management experience• Extensive Product Knowledge & internal business processes• Problem Solving experience using an Airbus identified tool (PPS, Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin) APQP, AOS and Quality Standards
