TARCG has an exciting new opportunity for a HR Business Partner to work with our client based at Heathrow Airport. Suitable candidates will be CIPD qualified and have a string knowledge of employment law.
The HR Business Partner position will be the UK lead on all people related matters across our client’s UK footprint. The post will provide key business advice and support around Business Growth, Business Decline & Business Change scenarios.
The post holder will be a true people expert and will be versatile with managing people, operational complexity & ambiguity over a range of challenging environments, whilst upholding the client’s values and all things business integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing all people related business requirements by leading people processes and advising managers competently and confidently.
- Building of excellent relationships with managers and the senior leadership team to ensure effective people solutions are properly identified, communicated, and implemented across different operational environments.
- Maintaining strong relationships with HR Shared Services team to ensure internal processes are followed consistently and data is produced and analysed to support business solutions.
- Work with the business and the HR team to identify potential improvements in HR processes and procedures.
- Provide technical knowledge and credible leadership on the following areas of expertise:
- Act as a trusted authority on all ER matters, including high volumes of disciplinaries and capability processes.
- Work with the business to effectively manage the absence process and identify solutions to decrease levels of absenteeism across the business.
- Lead all tactical initiatives with Trade Union representatives and Shop Stewart Committee.
- Effectively work with the business, including managers and directors, to assess growth and change requirements.
- In partnership with the HR Shared Services team, create effective recruitment plans to meet business expectations.
- Proactively liaise with external agencies and build a strong understanding of internal recruitment processes to support all recruitment activities.
- Work with business leaders to identify training and development requirements.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external providers to set up training and development opportunities that meet business needs.
- Focus on managerial capability development and improvement, equipping all managers with technical and leadership skills to effectively manage the operations.
- CIPD qualified. (MCIPD)
- Ability to manage a team of HR Advisors.
- Strong employment law knowledge along with practical application.
- Experience of working with Trade Unions & Collective employment arrangements.
- TUPE, Business Restructuring and M&A experience.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of managers over multiple remote locations.
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor and credible subject matter expert on all HR matters.
- Experience of cultural/operational change and project management.
