- Role: Site Security ManagerRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Filton – onsite requirementWorking Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)Length of Contract: Until 31/12/2023This role is to assist the team to deliver a robust Security framework that protects Airbus from the prevailing threat environment whilst protecting Airbus’ bottom line.You will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of Security Risk Assessments Process and Risk Reporting as well as a robust adherence to policies and directives. You will be responsible for the operational security activities including self-delivered and third-party security solutions.ABOUT US:The UK Security Team are a close knit highly adaptable team who deliver subject matter expertise to our business and risk sharing partners. We are responsible for:
- The Security and Safety of our staff, contractors, visitors, sites, product and assets.
- Fire Safety, including fire fighting and risk assessments.
- Emergency Planning for our industrial activities, including the provision of rescue service.
The UK team consists of a number of staff with different specialisms. This role will give you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding as you integrate with the team.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?● You will liaise with the Airbus Security Management team and Airbus’ Security Partners to ensure a standardised and harmonised approach to daily activities, processes across all of the airbus sites in the UK.● You will oversee the Emergency Planning for Site by ensuring suitable and sufficient measures are in place for all foreseeable emergencies and the testing thereof.● You will help to capture all relevant risks using the Airbus Risk Management process then identify and implement suitable mitigation measures. Ensure all risks are periodically and routinely reviewed when necessary.● You will audit and ensure the security suppliers are compliant with all contractual documentation.● You will bring your knowledge and experience to the team to help develop and improve our process and procedures.
OTHER DUTIES:● Support all security activities and security initiatives● Manage the Car Parking Processes meeting customer needs● Enforce Service providers compliance against Work package agreements and Monitor and Report on KPIs and SLAs● Maintain currency in security best practices and lead activities to identify efficient, innovative and cost effective security solutions to emerging challenges.● Produce weekly and monthly reports as required● Conduct routine and ad-hoc security checks including penetration testing● Developing strong customer relations with the client leadership team● Develop effective partnerships with Facilities and HSE and all other Airbus business areas as required● Investigation of theft and fraud allegations, near misses and road traffic collisions,● Support all Airbus lean initiatives and in particular organise and manage go look see process confirmation and report on findings on weekly basis
KEY SKILLS:You must have/ demonstrate the following skills:● Level 5 qualification in Security management or equivalent experience is essential● A background in security management with commercial or industrial sector experience is essential● Demonstrable application of the use Security Risk Assessment to define a mitigation measure is essential● Complementary skills in risk management and emergency planning essential● Excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to analyse and assess complex issues
DESIRABLE SKILLS:You should have/ demonstrate the following skills:● Comprehensive experience in computer skills Microsoft office and G-SUITE● Experience with managing a security contractor is desirable but not essential● Ability to travel and at short notice
