- Title: Senior Thermal Design Engineer
Location: Turkey
Salary: Circa $50,000
Type: Permanent
TARCG has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Avionics Cooling Engineer to work with our client based in Turkey. Suitable candidates will have previous experience of working within a similar role in the aviation and aerospace industry.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct 1D/3D simulations and develop/validate computation tools, databases, physical laws
- Define & develop thermal concepts, coordinate their development in agreement with systems
- Implement ECS Control Laws and Algorithms into complete mathematical and 1D modelling of Air vehicle ECS in coordination with the ECS Control Systems Engineer
- Complete thermal modelling and analysis of the air vehicle ECS; conduct thermal design trade studies that successfully balance performance margins, resource use, risk, cost, and schedule.
- Perform hand calculations for early feasibility, as well as detailed heat transfer and thermodynamic simulations for ECS sub-systems and components.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Thermal System Design in Aviation and Aerospace Industry
- Consultancy is acceptable with time and material basis.
- Either Permanent employment or Temporary employment with a predefined duration is preferable.
- Familiarity with thermal engineering tools such as Simsoft Amesim, Ansys-Fluent is preferred.
