Description
Title: Engineer - Avionics / Electrical
Location: Middle East
Salary: 33,000 - 35,000 (AED/Month)

On behalf of our client based in the Middle East we are now searching for Engineer - Avionics / Electrical

As an Engineer - Avionics / Electrical you will Perform a full range of technical tasks in assignments requiring high degree of original thinking as they relate to aerospace electrical and avionics systems and equipment. Applies advanced theories and technical concepts and be the SME for aircraft instrumentation, electronic and electrical systems maintenance to support activities and assigned projects on time and within budget and in order to increase equipment availability and reliability.

Ensure smooth and reliable operation of Instrument & Electrical Equipment through preparation, implementation and review of preventive maintenance programs and coordination of efforts with internal and external stakeholders in order to make sure that relevant maintenance works are completed in an effective and timely manner.
Provide system support for all communication, navigation and guidance systems and perform testing to ensure that those systems are working properly. 

Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • 5 plus year working with Rotary wing avionics / electrical engineering
  • Experience in electronic equipment design and analysis.
  • Full conversant with aircraft regulatory requirements and maintenance documentations.
  • Advanced computer qualification, with emphasis on condition monitoring , and 3D designe
    software.
  • Preferred Qualification: B2 EASA license or equivalent
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Implement approved Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures
    in order to support execution of the Department work programs in line with Company and
    customer standards and requirements.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved
    Company, manufacturer and Airworthiness Authority published manuals, Procedures and
    Regulations.
  • Understanding and developing system requirements, architecture, and interfaces with
    other aircraft systems
  • Knowledge and ability to design and integrate numerous electrical and avionics
    installations (i.e. electrical power distribution systems, engine installations, EFIS system
    installations, weather radar, micro-wave communications, aircraft intercom, search light
    systems, aircraft and non-aircraft radios, and airborne imaging systems.
  • Define avionics & electrical testing, write test plans and test reports.
  • Performs electrical and system wiring analysis in support of aircraft maintenance and
    modification certifications.
  • Read, analyze and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, technical
    procedures, or customer regulations and apply knowledge to project as required.
  • Facilitate and/or perform qualification engineering tests to identify failures during product
    development and provide technical solutions to problems
  • Prepare engineering drawings for avionics and electrical system interface wiring using
    computer based drafting tools (CATIA/Solidworks)
  • Utilize electronic test equipment to verify avionics and electrical systems meet design
    requirements, and/or for system troubleshooting off and on aircraft
  • Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become
    proficient on the job and deliver the respective objectives.
