- Role: Project Engineer / Manufacturing EngineerRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Broughton, Flintshire – onsite working requirementWorking Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)Length of Contract: Until 02/07/2024An exciting opportunity has arisen in Airbus Broughton within the Manufacturing Engineering Function supporting the Single Aisle programme. We are looking for an individual with strong project management skills to join our team.
The job holder is responsible for scoping, developing and delivering projects that will benefit businesses across the Broughton plant.Tasks & Accountabilities:The successful applicant will have the autonomy to develop and deliver new projects on behalf of the Manufacturing Engineering team.There will be scope to lead a number of different types of projects including Continuous Improvement Projects, Environmental Projects, Health & Safety Projects as well as providing technical support to the manufacturing operations departments.
Required Skills:As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the following:• Dealing with various activities in a constant evolving environment• Dealing with external partners• Discovering different manufacturing technologies• Manage the full project scope from end to end.• Influence key stakeholders outside of your sphere of influence
Accountabilities:• Strong collaboration with business areas to ensure On Time, Cost and Quality projects.• Work in partnership with the suppliers to support product development.• Track project milestones with visible KPI's and manage key stakeholders through Multi Functional Teams.
Technical Skills & Competencies:• Experienced knowledge of aircraft production, and engineering methods and procedures.• Proven Project management experience• Problem solving techniques.• Fluent English negotiation level (commercial and technical).• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.• Google Office IT tools: Slides, Sheets, GMail.
