Monday - Friday, DaysLength of Contract: 6-monthsAbout AALTO:AALTO’s Zephyr is a High-Altitude Platform Station (HAPS) and is the only one of its kind to have demonstrated day/night longevity in the stratosphere. Providing a persistent and adaptable solution, unlike other unmanned aircraft. Its persistence enables a capability of flying continuously for months at a time, at around 70,000 feet, above weather and conventional air traffic.The newly established entity shall become the leading Global HAPS Connectivity as a Service (CaaS) provider for the Mobile and Satellite Network Operator market – connecting the diverse needs of our customers – whether for rural, overlay capacity, disaster recovery or new services provision. In addition, it shall offer Platform as a Service (PaaS) to the Institutional and Military markets for Earth observation, tracking and communications requirements, as well as operating a global fleet of carbon neutral HAPS platforms – powered by sunlight.Job Purpose:Working closely with the existing Logistics and Production Teams, you will play a key part in the goods in; goods out; and kitting processes in order to enable the business to achieve production targets.Responsibilities:· Working in and around the Goods In; Despatch; and Warehouse areas.· Goods receipting items.· Creating kits in accordance with the inventory and production systems.· Collating items ready for despatch.· Entering data into the business systems.· Monitoring of all Part / Consumable stock levels and shelf life, escalating within the Supply Chain as required· Ensure workplace health and safety standards are met.· Ensure Dangerous Goods Awareness is applied at all timesExperience and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a Goods In; Goods Out; Stock Control environment.
- Understanding of export regulations (not essential).
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook) and business systems.
- Understanding of COSHH regulations.
- Full UK / International driving licence.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
