- Role: Operations Support Team MemberRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Broughton, Flintshire – onsite working requirementWorking Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)Length of Contract: Until 01/08/2024 – likely to be extendedAn opportunity has arisen for an Ops Support Team Member to support on the increase in production. Reporting to the Ops Support Leader, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include:Initial Project Phase:• Support the Ops support leader in creating and deploying the tooling strategy.• Identifying and deploying the PUWER assessment and rectification of all tooling and assets for enablement in line with the project requirements.• Support Safety engineer regarding compliance to health, safety & environmental issues, control, and reporting.• Support Capex projects and facility improvements.• Support the development of best-in-class FOD tooling and consumable strategy in line with all up FOD strategy.
Operational Go Live:• Liaison with engineering and design for solutions with respect to production enabling blockers.• Controlling and maintaining consumable materials and tooling.• Liaison with Facilities and Services to ensure adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements and delivery requirements.• Management interface between Tool Control Centre and Operations (Calibration Process).• Support Capex projects and facility improvements.• Assessing continuous improvement opportunities and implementing new processes in line with lean manufacturing principles.• Support Safety engineer regarding compliance to health, safety & environmental issues• NPO analysis, control, and reporting.• Support and maintenance of lean manufacturing systems.• 5C/housekeeping.• Visual management process.• Process improvement activity.
Key Attributes:The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:• Knowledge and experience of the flowline assembly tools and techniques that apply to stage 2&3 to which you’re applying.• Experience of tooling and site procedures.• The ability to investigate and to introduce continuous improvement ideas.• Practical competence of current ‘PC’ based packages (essential) and experience of mainframe SAP (desirable).• Knowledge AOS systems.• Prior project experience would be an advantage.• The successful candidate will be qualified to HNC/HND level and or have relevant experience to an equivalent depth and breadth.The role will involve working within a dedicated team to plan and prioritize workloads alongside the maintenance of effective customer and supplier relationships and, as such, will require the following behavioural competencies to be demonstrated:• Innovation & Problem Solving• Direction & Purpose• Drive & Commitment• Two Way Communication• Customer Focus• Teamworking
