Job Title: Supply Chain & Governance Technician
Rate of Pay: Please apply for further details 
Location: Brize Norton (full time in office first 6 months) then 60% office
Working Pattern: Standard 35 hours across 4.5 days (working between 7-7 at business discretion)
Length of Contract: Until 02/07/2024 - Possibility of extension

Job Description:
Supply Chain and Governance Airbus Location – Brize Norton – Oxfordshire
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work at the heart of the Airbus' contribution to UK Defence on the exciting A400M Programme.
Based in the UK in Oxfordshire, the role directly supports Royal Air Force A400M operations.
This is a highly rewarding role that directly supports missions such as the Kabul Airlift, Covid vaccine delivery, medical evacuation and standing A400M tasks across the globe.
Working in the Business Operations Office with senior leaders will allow the successful candidate to experience a dynamic environment that is at the sharp end of the Services part of Airbus.
The experience gained in this role will be a springboard to success.
The Head of the UK Atlas Support Centre is looking for talent that can be developed, and the team looks primarily for a positive mindset and attitude, which we believe is super important to the role.

How you will contribute:
 Manage the Consumables, Expendables and General procurement orders.
 Manage internal purchasing requirements in SAP or MySupply, to convert them into purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Invoice management.
 Monitor purchase orders raised by EGP UK/PT.
 Create and maintain internal records on all purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Generate Procurement KPIs and reports
 Execute goods receipting in SAP light.
 Act as liaison between EGP UK and TOP in UK Airbus Support Centre.
 Daily contact with supplier and internal requestors to resolve issues.
 Provide support to the definition and implementation of processes and procedures related to procurement activity in the UK Airbus Support Centre.
 Manage suppliers’ monthly performance according to the contract in place. (On time, on quality performance/KPIs, launching improvement activities, risk management, mitigation plan)
 Assist finance staff in relation to budgetary control: Quarterly procurement plan/Forecast Expenditure.
 Plan in advance all the materials required working closely with part M and Part 145. Attend and support daily meeting with Demand cell to ensure the deliveries on time and on quality.
 Demand planning in order to size and maintain the appropriate stock levels. Optimization of SAP parameters, such as MOQ or SSL.
 Release the orders analysing the customer orders, SSL, lead time and cost
 Manage late commitments, parked and blocked invoices.
 Link between internal requesters and suppliers.
 Internal and external reporting of PO/service status.
 Manage discrepancies with suppliers.
 Update the Procurement Procedures
 Monthly/weekly reviews with principal internal budget owners’ requirements.

Experience / Skills required:
 More than 2 years’ experience in Procurement/Supply Chain
 Experience of using SAP
 Experience of using MySupply
 Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
 Negotiation level of English both verbal and written
 Good planning and organisational skills
