- Role: Quality EngineerRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Filton, Hybrid 60%Working Pattern: Standard 35 hours across 4.5 days (working between 7-7 at business discretion)Travel: Occasional local travelLength of Contract: 11/01/2024, possible extensionJob Description:The role is to be part of the current Quality Engineering Landing Gear & Fuel (Q1Y2) team located in Filton, undertaking the following work:The following Quality Performance activities apply:• Review performance data from dedicated company Tools and/or team’s Google Sheet(s).• Analyze data with respect to targets and trends; provide relevant comments with respect to overall performance (also by liaising with various stakeholders).• Develop and maintain up-to-date reports via company Tools, Google Sheet(s) and or Google Slide(s).• Communicate reports to stakeholders, collect and organize feedback.• Attend and present at performance reviews (in some cases, some topics can be presented by other team members).• During the performance reviews, take active participation and take minutes of meetings.• Develop and/or update actions and communicate accordingly.
The following Process, Supplier & Design Quality activities apply:• Support process assurance task/deliverable (e.g. checking of documents).• Support Supplier audit findings (e.g. requirements cross-checking).• Support Design-FMEA task/deliverable (e.g. supporting failures identification).• Support Practical Problem Solving (PPS) task/deliverable (e.g. supporting root causes analysis).• Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) topics (e.g. tracking of action closure).
