The Team:An exciting opportunity exists to join our professional Project Management team in partnership with the Wide Body Value Stream Management (VSM) programme. The VSM is responsible for Industrial Programme Management with E2E accountabilities on Time, Cost & Quality across Filton, Broughton, Bremen and FAL (A350, A330 and A400M). This opportunity will provide a good level of autonomy whilst being based full time in Filton alongside the VSM team. The successful candidate will be motivated and passionate to deliver best practice PM into a successful, high performing environment. 2. Description of the Role:i) Work Package Management & Change Control:- Deliver the Change / MOD management Governance including Process Control, Material Preparation/Reporting & Review Facilitation
- Ensure best practise alignment within the Widebody VSM team
- Support the team with Config Management & CMPM Deployment
ii) Industrial Planning:- Support the VSM Planning Manager with the delivery of new CAP plans and cascades into United Planning
- Maintain End to End planning analysis for all Major Constituent Assemblies deliveries
iii) VSM Programme:- Coordinate all A400M & A350 VSM Reporting e.g. Integrated Finance Review, Industrial Readiness, PRMs, Central Programme comms & escalation topics
- Provide alignment and Performance Management KPIs of Out of Sequence Work (OSW) within Filton Plant and A400M FAL
- Link with plant Quality Gate team & VSM Route to Zero project in order to Set up Improvement Projects to reduce repeat non conformities and improve Quality Gate performance
- Lead Risks & Opportunities Management for Filton Plant & VSM: Operate the monthly governance process with HO for progress and reporting into OW & VSM
- Support the Widebody Business Manager in monitoring, reporting & delivering the annual financial processes across BRO, FIL, BRE
This role may involve occasional travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Competencies:- Educated to Degree level in Engineering, Project Management, Business admin or other
- At least 5-10 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience working in a Programme environment
- Knowledge & experience of Aircraft production / engineering including Mod introduction
- Ability to learn a variety of Airbus systems and tools
- Experience in stakeholder management, ability to engage skills of different functions
- Negotiation level of English
