- Role: Control Focal PointRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Broughton, Flintshire – onsite working requirementWorking Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)Length of Contract: Until 31/12/2023 – high likelihood of extensionA great opportunity has arisen in Airbus UK Broughton for someone to join as a Control Focal Point for the Quality Team.Candidates with a strong QA/Engineering background, that have worked in sectors other than the Aerospace Industry, will still be considered for this role and training will provided.Responsibilities:· Acting as the Control Plan focal point for Widebody Quality team.· Lead Control Plans & Measuring Equipment supporting the team.· Lead for supporting the Industrial Standards· Problem Solving focal point to improve the knowledge and mindset within the department.· Coach and support the Quality Lineside teams.· Influence and shape changes as part of the Quality Transformation Inspecting, Preventing and Solving workstreams.· Support Non conformity reduction activity
Key Qualities:· Quality or engineering based background within a major manufacturing industry is desirable but does not have to necessarily be within the Aerospace sector.· Ability to problem solve and use associated problem-solving tool sets· Good interpersonal skills - ability to challenge appropriately whilst maintaining strong relationships.· Data analysis skills - interpret data sets, graphical data and draw conclusions.· Work well as part of an integrated team alongside operational and cross functional team members· Ensure Customer Focus· Ensure Product Safety· Team Working· Proactivity· Adaptability
