- Role: Early Careers ManagerRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Filton – 60% onsite working requirementWorking Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)Length of Contract: Contract till 01/10/2024 – high likelihood of extensionAn exciting opportunity for an Early Careers Manager has arisen to join the team based onsite at Filton.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:First Line management responsibility for the performance management of Early Careers programme participants. Ensuring individual’s development (educational and behavioural) meets or surpasses programme requirements/standardsRegular 1-2-1’s with the Early Careers participants and general daily supportResponsible for the operational delivery of the Graduate, Apprentice and Intern programmes, their associated business requirements, and their inherent educational standardsPerformance management and case management where appropriate including investigation into misconductLiaison with business departments (TAO’s/mentors/placement managers) including the Industrial Academy and HR Learning to ensure participants receive all mandatory training and develop relevant business acumen and experience (job specific skills, knowledge, and competence). Currently over 45 training courses for apprenticesEffective resource selection and deployment before, within and post programme. Support induction of new starts, and recruitment activityEnsuring that the relevant Awarding Bodies requirements are met through the registration and internal verification of the participant’s vocational qualifications. Inclusive of standardisation meetings with 3rd parties to ensure all Quality Control measures are in placeRegular operational reviews with educational partners to ensure participant performance meets course requirements, and that the service delivery level and course content meets the agreed business needs.Work with transnational counterparts and training providers to assist in the delivery of the intercultural awareness programme(s). Inclusive of supporting/attending overseas placements and training programmesSupport education liaison activities through interfacing with relevant external organisations and educational establishments including supporting resource deployment where required.
