Description
Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Stockholm
Salary: 50,000 kr to 55,000 kr per month
Contract: Permanent
  
TARCG has an exciting new opportunity to work with our client based in Stockholm. Suitable candidates will have a background in buying or procurement and have experience of working within an MRO.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Manage Procurement staff and supervise day-to-day activities of the department
  • Ensure the consistent supply of goods and services, from the initial query to the delivery, including evaluation and negotiation of quotes, selection of the best supplier in accordance with required specifications, creation of purchase orders, status follow-up, and tracking of shipment.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations
  • Ensure the continuous assessment of suppliers and the upkeep of the list of approved suppliers and their qualifications
  • Assure suppliers deliver goods and services in accordance with standards of price, time, quantity, and quality agreed upon
  • Regularly evaluate supplier performance and take actions in case of recurring quality issues or lack of performance
  • Support business in the effective resolution of goods and services queries/issues
  • Responsible for the timely management/approval of Procurement invoices
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and continuously search for new suppliers, new goods, and new services to meet the company's goals
  • Responsible for the upkeep of procurement-related master data in ERP system
  • Develop procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve lead-time and quality
  • Monitor inventory levels, and establish/adjust reorder points as needed
  • Assist management in establishing standards, procedures and department instructions related to Procurement
  • Advise of budget-related needs
  • Responsible for continuous training of Procurement staff
  • Responsible for compliance to procedures and regulations related to Procurement
  • Manage quality issues and Occurrence Reports investigation related to Procurement
  • Support during audit activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  •  Minimum 5 years work-life experience of which a minimum 2-year proven experience from MRO environment in a similar role
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Procurement processes, policy and systems
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
  • Ability to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Good understanding of Part-145 regulations
