- Role: Project Leader - Internal Supply & SupportRate of Pay: Please apply for further detailsLocation: Broughton, Flintshire – onsite working requirementWorking Pattern: Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)Length of Contract: Contract until 31/10/2024 – likely to be extendedAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Leader for Manufacturing Engineering (ME) within Airbus, in Broughton.The Internal Supply & Support (IS&S) ME Team in Broughton enable manufacturing operations by working closely with the shopfloor teams to ensure minimal disruption, whilst providing innovative, value adding and robust solutions.As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be accountable for delivering Projects aimed at enabling and improving the production processes whilst meeting safety, cost & quality requirements.Tasks:Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:- Support the Business by carrying out process mapping and requirement definition.- Ensure analysis, design, development, integration, functional and technical acceptance, deployment.- Ensure activities are completed in line with agreed budget, schedule and resources.- Work with Stakeholders to define "AS IS" and "TO BE" Solutions- Provide Project Financial Management (Cost benefit analysis, planning, estimating, budgeting, funding, managing project expenses, and billing)- Create all required Project documentation according to the agreed Governance model adopted.- Ensure dependencies and risks are clearly identified, reported and managed.- Identify and manage all risks relating to delivering the project to time cost and quality, including interdependencies with other projects or services.
Skills:As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate some or all of the following skills and competencies:- Demonstrated Project Management experience (LBIP, AGILE, use of Planisware or other PM tools)- Airbus Project Management accreditation would be an advantage- Experience of working in a Production environment- Stakeholder management & building customer relationships- Analysing and simplifying complex topics and being able to make them understandable to stakeholders.- Familiarity with Click n Buy, FMEA, SWOT analysis, 5 whys, Fishbone Analysis, Flowcharts would be an advantage.- Experience in Generating Technical Specification based on Operational Requirements.
