Description

TARCG has an exciting new opportunity for a Product Support Engineer to work with our aviation client based in Austria. Suitable candidates will have a technical background within education and have professional experience within logistics support and/or aviation.
 
Responsibilities:
  • You plan and manage customer projects in the area of IPS/ILS (Integrated Product Support).
  • For this purpose, you will create and maintain customer-specific support plans and reports (e.g. ILSP, R&M case).
  • Providing material and maintenance data for technical documentation via the HICO database is also part of your job.
  • In addition, you will independently research and record product specifications and maintain them in the database.
  • You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining all relevant product-related structure information (PBS/Product Breakdown Structure) and material master data (Provisioning Data) in coordination with the specialist departments.
  • In coordination with the specialist departments, you define documents for product-related maintenance and inspection activities (LSA/Logistic Support Analysis, LORA/Level of Repair Analysis).
  • You will also perform Life Cycle Cost/ Availability/ Reliability calculations and analysis of improvement potentials.
  • You will also analyze internal and external requirements in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Collaboration on customer inquiries in the course of the quotation preparation process is also part of your duties.
  • In addition, you will create department-related guidelines and directives.
Requirements:
  • You have a completed technical education and at least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the area of Integrated Logistic Support and/or Aviation.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge of ASD specifications (SX000i, S1000D, S2000M and S3000L) or ILS standards DEF-STAN 00-600 and MIL-STD-1369.
  • Experience with ERP systems and databases (e.g. proAlpha, HICO IPS Suite) is also a plus.
  • A high level of technical understanding is a must.
  • You also have very good MS Office skills (especially Excel).
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills are mandatory.
  • An analytical, independent and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong organizational and communication skills complete your profile.
  • In addition, you are willing to travel on business to a limited extent.
