Chairman of the Board
Our Chairman of the Board, Luke Farajallah joined TARCG in July of 2018 after leaving his role as Chief Operating Officer for the Flybe PLC Group to focus on bringing his background, experience, network, and leadership to our dynamic company.
Luke’s unique career portfolio has seen him undertake senior executive and board positions in network, LCC & ULCC, and Regional airlines, as well as having worked in the rotary industry. Luke was formerly the Managing Director for Bond Offshore Helicopters in Aberdeen and led the company successfully through a sale process to Babcock Engineering in 2014. Other posts he has held include Chief Operating officer for the Wizz Air Group, Chief Operating Officer for Spanair, and Regional General Manager for the UK for easyJet PLC. Luke has been a Director and Board Member of Oil & Gas UK, Flybe Aviation Services, and has held the position of Nominated Person and Accountable Manager for many of the companies for which he has worked. Luke started his career at British Airways where he spent 17 successful years.
Samuel J O’Brien
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Sam started TARCG in 2016 with his brother Jack O’Brien, now TARCG’s Chief Commercial Officer, after noticing an opportunity to revolutionise the staffing and recruiting industry within aviation. His main responsibility is to ensure execution of TARCG’s short term and long-term strategy whilst leading the day to day management decisions of the company. Sam is a family-oriented people person with strong integrity and a burning desire to ensure success, values all of which run deep within the culture of TARCG and our employees. Sam started his aviation career in 2005 as a licensed aircraft engineer and soon progressed into many other areas within the industry, globally, working with companies such as Flybe, Austrian Airlines and AMMROC. He has vast experience in areas of aviation including operations, airport, MRO, military, commercial, cargo/freight, private, leasing and many more. In his spare time, Sam loves to eat great food with great people, read books like crazy and windsurf on holidays in the sun.
