Type: Permanent
Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per annum
TARCG has an exciting new opportunity for a Safety Equipment Technician to work with our aviation client based at Stansted Airport. Our client has been Europe's leading independent overhaul and repair facility for more than 60 years. The company has a solid reputation in the aerospace industry for providing a broad range of services to international and regional airlines, helicopter operators and airframe manufacturers.
Successful candidates will be responsible for the disassemble, test, fault find and repair various safety equipment for slides, rafts and their subcomponents. To reassemble a variety of safety equipment, slides, rafts and their subcomponents in accordance with CMM’s / OHM’s and OEM packing instructions.
Responsibilities:
- To disassemble, test, fault find and repair various safety equipment for slides, rafts and their subcomponents.
- To reassemble a variety of safety equipment, slides, rafts and their subcomponents in accordance with CMM’s / OHM’s and OEM packing instructions.
- Previous experience of working in an engineering/workshop environment (highly desirable)
- Prior experience working of interpreting and following in detail compliance manuals.
- Experience of repairing and packing aircraft safety equipment (highly desirable).
