- Title: Maintenance Manager
Location: Muskoka, Ontario
Type: Full-Time / Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead aircraft maintenance operations within a fast-paced business aviation environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery of maintenance services while driving operational performance, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement across the maintenance base.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and operational oversight within a regulated aviation maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall performance of the maintenance operation, ensuring safety, quality, budget and delivery objectives are achieved.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Transport Canada regulations, approved maintenance programs and company procedures.
- Oversee maintenance planning, project execution and customer communication to ensure efficient delivery of maintenance events.
- Collaborate with Planning, Materials and Commercial teams to support resource allocation, procurement and operational readiness.
- Ensure maintenance personnel are appropriately trained, certified and equipped to perform work safely and effectively.
- Drive operational performance through leadership, coaching, continuous improvement and effective problem-solving.
- Build strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders and cross-functional maintenance teams to support consistent operational excellence.
- Minimum 6 years’ aviation maintenance experience, including leadership or management responsibility within an MRO, airline or business aviation environment.
- Valid Transport Canada AME or ACA licence with relevant endorsements preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CARs, aircraft maintenance programs, technical publications and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience managing maintenance operations, projects or continuous improvement initiatives within regulated aviation environments.
- Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, make sound operational decisions and drive accountability across teams.
- Post-secondary education in Aviation or Aircraft Maintenance would be advantageous.
