- Sales/Business Development and Marketing Specialist
An exciting opportunity has arisen, and we are now searching for a Sales and Marketing Specialist to come and join the TARCG team in a flexible hybrid working capacity (Remote and office-based) supporting our Exeter-based office team. This is a one-of-a-kind sales position without the pressure of financial targets.
The purpose of the Sales and Marketing Specialist is to schedule meetings between qualified prospects and our Sales team for our Aviation & Aerospace recruitment services, by managing and developing the lead generation, sales and marketing function of TARCG.
This position would suit someone who enjoys speaking on the phone and is proactive with telephone sales calls, ensuring our existing and future sales pipeline remains full of business opportunities that convert to clients. Key to this position is developing new and existing business relationships with stakeholders to promote TARCG as the trusted and reliable recruitment partner of choice.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Commercial
- Scheduled daily meetings between qualified prospects and our Sales team for our Aviation & Aerospace recruitment services
- Build a strong sales pipeline
- Maintaining and expanding relationships within existing clients
- Utilise our existing network of industry contacts to generate new business
- Become a subject matter expert within the aviation and recruitment industry
- Develop and manage a portfolio of Aerospace, Aviation & Defence accounts
- Work with TARCG CEO to prepare and deliver client presentations
- Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional services
- Responding to tender documents, writing proposals etc
- Maintain the contracts library, ensure new agreements are registered and co-ordinate the review of expiring agreements
- Coordinate the review and response to RFPs and other bid opportunities
- Draft new client agreements
- Support with the transition of new customers from the commercial to the operational team
Marketing
- Mapping out a global client list within aviation and aerospace
- Create and manage email marketing campaigns
- Maintain a strong and consistent brand image
- Create content and job posts for our website and social media pages including blogs, adverts and press releases etc
- Provide support with market research and events management
- Assisting with the organising and advertising of conferences, exhibitions and other events
- Produce internal marketing material to include regular company performance updates
- Maintain and develop a library of content and graphics for RFPs and presentations
Qualifications:
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Degree level (Desirable)
- Recruitment qualifications (Desirable)
- Sales & business development qualifications (Desirable)
Essential Person Specification:
- Motivated telephone sales professional
- Ability to listen deeply and understand before trying to be understood
- Exceptional customer service
- Previous experience within a sales, marketing, and/or BD role
- Experience across multiple channels, including online/social media (desirable)
- Track record of assisting with the production of content and communications (press releases, communications, blogs etc.)
- Being able to work to tight deadlines
- Detail orientated, highly organised with the ability to work on own initiative and to organise and prioritise own work
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Mature nature, reliable and driven
- Ability to convey information accurately, clearly and in a manner easily understood
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office type Applications
Advantageous / Desirable:
- Previous experience within the recruitment industry
- Experience within a similar role in the aviation industry
- Previous experience within customer/account management
- Previous experience reporting/analysing data
- Experience working within a busy environment
Package Overview:
- £22-25K per annum DOE
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 4:30 pm with a half-hour break
